Purpose and Specifications

LIQUI MOLY Pro-Line Gear Oil Additive (5198) is a premium formula for manual transmissions and differential gears. It cuts friction and wear, quiets noisy gears, enables smoother shifts, and lowers operating heat for reliable performance even in older vehicles. One 150ml tube treats up to 15 liters of gear oil at 1% concentration, or use 2% for tough cases.

Works with mineral or synthetic gear oils. Stays effective above 400°C, flows down to -15°C, and resists vibrations for long-lasting protection. Add directly to gear oil; it mixes during operation.

When to Use / Replace?

Use at every gear oil change, typically every 60,000 km or 36 months, or when noticing rough shifts, gear noise, or high heat. Ideal for high-mileage trucks or cars over 100,000 km. Shelf life is 4 years unopened; replace additive if gear oil is changed.
