Purpose and Specifications

WOLF VitalTech 5W40 PI C3 1L is a full synthetic engine oil designed for modern diesel engines, especially VW TDI with pump injectors and Common Rail turbodiesels. Its 5W40 viscosity flows easily at cold starts down to -30°C and stays thick up to 150°C under heavy loads, protecting against wear in extreme conditions.

This mid-SAPS formula safeguards diesel particulate filters (DPF) and aftertreatment systems while keeping pistons clean and resisting sludge buildup. Approved for MB 229.51, VW 505.01, BMW LL-04, Porsche A40 and more, it delivers total engine protection, fuel savings, and CO2 reduction.

When to Use / Replace?

Use in vehicles requiring ACEA C3 specs during high-stress driving like towing or city traffic. Replace every 10,000-15,000 km or 12 months, or sooner if monitoring shows darkening. Shelf life is 5 years unopened in cool storage.
