MOTUL DOT 4 LV (Low Viscosity) brake fluid is a 100% synthetic formula designed for hydraulic brake and clutch systems, especially in vehicles with ESP, ABS, and ASR systems. This 0.5-liter bottle delivers reliable braking by resisting vapor lock in high-heat conditions, with a wet boiling point of 172°C after absorbing moisture over time - far better than standard DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluids.

Its low viscosity ensures smooth flow through tiny valves in modern anti-lock systems, giving quicker, more precise response even in freezing cold down to -40°C. Safe with all standard seals, it's compatible with DOT 3 and DOT 4 specs for cars, bikes, and more.

When to Use / Replace?

Use MOTUL DOT 4 LV for everyday driving, spirited road use, or track days where consistent pedal feel matters. Replace every 2 years or 40,000 km, whichever comes first, as brake fluids naturally absorb water from the air, dropping performance. Shelf life is 5 years unopened in a cool, dry place. Flush the system completely when switching to avoid mixing with old fluid.
